Photo Gallery – Taklamakan Desert

Cycling along the Taklamakan Desert tracing the ancient path of the silk road (on the china side), from Gansu province to Xinjiang province in the northwest of China. Harsh ride under the very hot weather at some 50 celcius. But when the strong wind blows from the north, coming from Artic blowing through Russia, it can turned to be very cold in minutes!
